WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar A Huge Success
KANSAS CITY, MO - February 14, 2007 – Over 500 coaches from 42 different states as well as Canada, France, England and the Caribbean attended the WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar at the Arrowhead stadium indoor facility this past weekend, (February 9 - 11) making it the most widely attended soccer seminar in the region.
The International Coaching Seminar provided club, high school and college soccer coaches with an opportunity to learn from some of the most influential coaches in the world. The quality of sessions was excellent and many attendees said it was the best coaching seminar they have ever attended.

Wayne presented clinics on his "Awareness Coaching Method" emphasizing quick play using one and two touches, and was very well received at both these events and has since had invites to present his clinics in Alaska, California; Iceland, and back home in England to name but a few.

Wayne has been the Director of Player and Coach Education and Development at the Eden Prairie Soccer Club in Minnesota, USA for these past 7 years. The club has been built up to over 65 teams and 900 plus players with over 160 coaches involved.
Before coming to the United States Wayne Head Coached several semi professional clubs in England over a seven year period (gaining important experience covering around 250 games in charge) including current full time professional club Accrington Stanley, and now non league semi professional club Workington Reds.
He also spent time in the position of ENGLISH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION COUNTY COACHING DIRECTOR for the county of CUMBRIA.
He then went on to become the full time DIRECTOR OF COACHING AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUTH at the BLACKPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB CENTER OF EXCELLENCE.
Then an opportunity to take his training ideas onto a larger scale and a more open audience appeared in the USA and he made the move to Minnesota.
STATE HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS
IN the 2005 Fall Soccer season Wayne was appointed the Head Coach of the Eden Prairie High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team, and at his first attempt they won the Minnesota High School State Championship.
It was also the first time in the schools history that this has been achieved; having gotten to the quarter finals on two occasions in the past..
2006 presented itself as another great challenge and though not able to emulate the previous year; the team losing in the Championship game 2-1, despite a great effort by the team hitting the post and the bar in the final ten minutes and dominating possession, the ball would not go in and it just wasn´t meant to be this time around.
